Leading a vegan lifestyle is about more than what you put on your plate. What we wear, the skincare we use, and even the furnishings we buy for our houses can be free of animal products too – it’s just about knowing what to look for – and what to look out for.

About the Author
Nadine learned about the plight of farm animals as a child, and immediately adopted a vegetarian diet.
Later, it became clear to her that it wasn’t only the animals who were being raised for their meat who were suffering. She started researching a vegan diet and made the transition in 2013.
Her only regret is that she didn’t do it sooner.
While Nadine’s primary concern was for the animals, her husband’s motivation for making the switch to a vegan diet was the environmental impact of the meat & dairy industry.
They have one son who is also thriving on a vegan diet, and who is happy to be playing his part to help the animals and the world we live in – all while eating yummy vegan treats!
